Student Experience

Unique in the Fayette County Public Schools, STEAM Academy strives to provide an individualized high school experience for its students. Our students are dually enrolled at STEAM and their home high school. Unlike other program schools, STEAM students attend STEAM for the entire day, with the exception of students who attend one of our technical/trade schools or attend classes at the BCTC campus.

As students move through the semester-based course schedules, choices become more flexible and individualized. Students who demonstrate mastery (80% or higher final grade) in their core content courses are awarded credit and move forward in course opportunity. You are invited to explore typical course schedules by year to understand course sequences and opportunities.
